Carolyn Scovil Brown, CPA,CA

​

I am a CPA (Chartered Accountant) with experience in the federal government with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada as well as public accounting practice.  I earned my Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in 2003 and went on to obtain my Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in Ontario, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2005. I completed the CPA Canada Not-for-Profit Certificate Program in 2019.

 

I am an avid volunteer.  I acted as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Saint Vincent's Nursing Home as well as the Nova Scotia Girl Guides of Canada Provincial Treasurer. I have served as the Treasurer for the Parent Teacher Partnership at Basinview Drive Community School which raises money for classroom books and supplies, technology and cultural events. I am currently the co-equipment manager for the Sackville Waves Aquatic Team.
